This is the diary which was found at the back of a drawer in our dad's old home. He was called Leslie Milford Smith.He died in 2010 aged 92. He lived all his life in Rawtenstall, Lancashire, where he met and married Ethel Westwell in 1942. My sister Shirley and I were born.It is such an important piece of family history, and the account of his experience of being in London during the Blitz of 1940-41.
